Tybalt was born in Verona and was the son of Edgar and Celia Capulet. He was Lady Capulet’s nephew and Juliet Capulet’s cousin. He was educated at home, and had ambitions to become a town leader.
Friends of Tybalt say he was very eager to protect the reputation of his family and prove himself as being the toughest of the younger Capulet generation. Sadly, this may have led to his death.
He is survived by his parents, Edgar and Celia Capulet.
Calling hours will be held Friday, July 19th, 1578, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Chapel of St. Peter, Verona town square.
